Seems like I downloaded a crappy version of Photoshop CS4 that screwed up my photoshop-using...ness.
So now it's all gone and I'm back to my good ol' 7.0.
But I'll still try to get my dirty pedo hands on CS4.

I have CS3 Extended, it works great! My system is not compatible with CS4, you really need to be running Vista on a nice beefy vista built system...

Vista? No way.
I hate Vista.
Besides, my computer is no where near powerful enough to run it.
But I'll be getting some new parts very soon and I think CS4 would run great with them.

Telling you. Look up the system specs for CS4. You need a serious powerhouse with dual core technology to even think about running it.

I run CS4 Extended on my computer, which is a couple years old. 2 gigs of RAM, no dual or quad core processors. It really only lags when I'm working on images above 400 dpi, and when I start getting into the really large canvas sizes. For example, that recent pic I did, 10 Minutes a Day, was something like 7000 x 18000 pixels large originally, 600 dpi. Lagged a bit, especially when choosing large brush sizes, but you can see I came out okay.

That defies logic! Hrm, maybe the specs on it are more demanding than what's advertised, but you also said 2 GB's of RAM... I know on my sytem, i've got under 1 GB of RAM...

Wonder how much Eitan's got...
